Abstract:
Project files from "Frankenstein: Penetrating the Secrets of Nature," a traveling exhibition organized by the National Library Of Medicine in cooperation with the ALA. The exhibit examined the novel "Frankenstein," what it means to be human and to be a part of the human community, and the role of science in civilization and culture. 82 public, academic, and medical libraries throughout the country hosted the exhibit from 2002 to 2006.
