Abstract:
Libraries and archives are the custodians of recorded knowledge, historically dominated by ink and paper. As bytes and plastic outpace these traditional formats in many collections, where does that leave our long-held notions of the book? Our speakers will take a walk through the conceptual wood, exploring the nature and future of the book as object and artifact.
