**Activity in Current Reporting Period 

a)      Projects completed (For example, any procedures, tip sheets, checklists, etc. created during this period):

·        The Reception has been added to the Annual schedule.

·        The committee chair has been in contact with the SASCO liaison to discuss ways in which we can work together to publicize the reception.

·        A task list has been created and tasks are beginning to be delegated to committee members.

 

b)      b)     Projects in progress but not yet completed:

·        Contact leaders of ALA Divisions and Roundtables to ask if they are interested in speaking at the Reception. (We are currently waiting for a location for the reception before we make contact.)

·        Work with Publicity and SASCO to ensure that library school students are aware of the reception.

·        Work with the SCOTYA committee to ensure that members of the winning chapter will be in attendance.

·        Find a co-chair for the committee who will be attending Annual and is willing to take control of the reception since the chair is unable to attend.

·        Plan the menu and the schedule for the event.

 

**Action Items/Issues To Be Resolved (What is left to do, based on your Planning Report? Have there been any substantial changes in plans since then? What items, if any, have been deferred until next year?):

 

We still need to contact Division and Roundtable leaders, plan the menu for the reception, design and issue invitations, and work on publicity for the event. These tasks are currently on hold until we have a location for the Reception.
