**Committee members:  Andrea Cheney, Caroline Crouse, Nathalie Hristov, Teresa Morris,             Dana Newman and Sally Weckerlin.

**Activity in Current Reporting Period

a) Projects completed (For example, any procedures, tip sheets, checklists, etc. created during this period):

            This year the committee has, thus far, conducted three interviews with library leaders and           posting these interviews to the NMRT-L listserv.  Four of the committee members also          met at the Midwinter ALA conference in Boston to discuss planning for the Membership Meeting and Program committee program, which will be held at the annual conference in    Chicago.

b) Projects in progress but not yet completed:

            The committee will interview five more library leaders, and post the interviews to the      NMRT listserv, as well as to the website (which is nearly finished and ready to go).

Actions to be completed before the ALA annual conference in Chicago include the following:

Contact Sally Gibson and find out more about the winner of the Shirley Olofson award.

Contact Sally Gibson and ask her to report on the past year's activities.

Contact Stacey Shoup and ask her to report on council issues of interest to NMRT.

Contact the next NMRT president and ask him/her to talk about the coming year's activities.

Report anything important NMRT is doing that deserves highlighting.

All the above items will comprise the agenda for the program hosted by the Membership Meeting and Program Committee at the ALA annual conference in Chicago.
