Abstract
Stephen Briseño received a 2023 (Pura) Belpré Children’s Author Honor for The Notebook Keeper: A Story of Kindness from the Border (Random House Studio/Random House Children’s Books/Penguin Random House). He delivered his acceptance remarks at the Pura Belpré Award Celebración held Sunday, June 25, 2023, during the ALA Annual Conference in Chicago.
