Guidelines for Cataloging Cartographic Resources Using RDA

Abstract

This document is to assist those involved with the cataloging of cartographic resources make the transition from AACR2 to RDA. These best practices are based on the experience of catalogers of cartographic resources, the best practices of the Geography and Map Division of the Library of Congress, and the understanding of past practice. These practices will be changed and revised as Resource Description and Access is revised. These best practices are for full-level bibliographic records.
