Comments of the American Library Association before the Federal Communications Commission in the matter of schools and libraries universal service support mechanism; comprehensive review of Universal Service Fund management, administration, and oversight; international comparison and consumer survey requirements in the Broadband Data Improvement Act; a national broadband plan for our future; and inquiry concerning the deployment of advanced telecommunications capability to all American in a reasonable and timely fashion, and possible steps to accelerate such deployment pursuant to Section 706 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, as amended by the Broadband Data Improvement Act (CC Docket No. 02-6, WC Docket No. 05-195, GN Docket No. 09-47, GN Docket No. 09-51, GN Docket No. 09-137)
