Abstract

The CC:DA/MARBI Preconference Planning Committee for Annual 2004 (formerly the Program Planning Committee for 2003) is charged with developing and publicizing a preconference on the role of Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records in cataloging for the 2004 ALA Annual Conference in Orlando. The proposed preconference is intended to acquaint technical services professionals with the FRBR entity-relationship model and its impact on the cataloging rules.
