Abstract
The same value propositions used in developing the Ahead to 2010 strategic plan developed in 2004 (the original 35 statements plus two new propositions representing two new programs) were fielded with ALA members during February‐March, 2009 to rate both the IMPORTANCE and PERFORMANCE of 37 statements. The figures presented in this overview highlight Importance and Performance scores from the most recent member survey (2009), 2004 and comparing value statements between 2004 and 2009.
