Interdisciplinary scholars face complex information-seeking problems requiring multiple databases, strong interpersonal networks, and varied search strategies. Relatively little analysis of their information seeking experience is available to the academic librarians who serve these scholars. This study examines twenty information services and
resources used in Women’s Studies noting, among other points, little use of Women’s Studies indexes, high use of interlibrary loan, and little familiarity with electronic document delivery services. |
