dc.description.abstract	This paper describes a study initiated by the authors for a report to the Collection Development Committee of the Council of University of Wisconsin Libraries. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the content of four full text journal databases by identifying the coverage of core journals in specific disciplines. The databases studied were: Academic Search Full Text from Ebscohost; Expanded Academic ASAP from IAC; Periodical Abstracts Research II Full Text from ProQuest; and Wilson Select Full Text.
