At a high level, ALA supports the changes proposed to the 2021 Eligible Services List (ESL) in comments filed by the State E-rate Coordinators’ Alliance (SECA)1 and Funds For Learning (FFL).2 These changes include: 1) Changes or elimination of the Category 2 subcategories, 2) Eliminating cost allocation based on what equipment is attached to the cabling or data distribution equipment, and 3) Eligibility of comprehensive security tools. |
