Project files from “Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World," a traveling exhibit organized by the ALA Public Programs Office in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary. The exhibit explored Franklin's life, his contributions to the founding of the United States, and his high standards for work, citizenship and contribution to community.
Two copies of the traveling exhibition traveled to 40 public and academic libraries between November 2007 and July 2011.
Based on the exhibition developed by the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary, a nonprofit educational alliance based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
