The Staff Organizations Round Table encourage the formation of staff organizations; to act as a clearinghouse for information about staff organizations; to bring staff organizations of library employees into closer relationship so as to foster mutual cooperation; to cooperate with all ALA units that are set up to study and act upon personnel matters.
