As part of the project, the team conducted research into existing local groups, surveyed identified local group leaders, surveyed LITA membership, developed a set of best practices, and created a timeline for a local group pilot implementation.

    2017 Forum Assessment Task Force Final Report

    Over the course of 2016, the Forum Assessment Task Force explored the impact and perceptions of the LITA Forum among LITA members and library technologists in general. The Task Force combined existing data already gathered from surveys, as well as conducted its own survey, a matrix mapping exercise, and a series of focus groups, to understand how the LITA Forum is perceived, identify strengths and weaknesses, and make recommendations for the Forum’s continued success.

    2017 LITA Personas Task Force Final Report

    The LITA Personas Task Force was appointed by LITA Board in January 2016 to run through Midwinter 2017. The Personas Task Force aimed to learn more and gather information about those who are natural fit for LITA to develop personas to be used for LITA to create, refine, and communicate tangible benefits and actionable strategies that directly address those interests, needs, and expectations of the LITA membership.
