In order to do this, YALSA needs to increase its sales of existing publications as well as seek out and publish new publications.Item Open Access Item 32 - Membership Retention & Recruitment(2005-01)One of the goal areas in YALSA’s new Strategic Plan is Association Sustainability. YALSA needs to explore ways to recruit new members and retain existing ones to help ensure that membership continues to grow at an adequate rate, since member dues are a key source of revenue.Item Open Access Item 31 - Teen Read Week Sponsorships(2005-01)Teen Read Week has always relied on the sponsorship of corporate partners to help promote and finance the event. In 2004, only $8,000 in sponsorships was raised.
