Goals, Objectives, Projects completed (including, but not
limited to, any procedures, tip sheets, checklists, etc. created during the
reporting year):
The committee completed a comparison of the constitution, bylaws, and NMRT handbook. A few inconsistencies between the three documents were located, as well as some outdated information on the web site.
The Governance chair created “Guidelines for Board Meetings.” These guidelines encompass both traditional and electronic meetings.
The bylaws change regarding the Director positions was placed on the 2006 ballot.
Action Items/Issues To Be Resolved – What plans/projects
remain which will be carried over or postponed until next year? Have there been
any substantial changes in plans requiring a reconsideration or cancellation of
projects? Information regarding such will be helpful for future chairs and
planners.
The information from the comparison of the constitution, bylaws, and NMRT handbook has been compiled and any inconsistencies that the committee feels should be taken to the board will be by the 2006-2007 committee, and the items that involve small changes to the NMRT site will be sent to the chair of the 2006-2007 Web Committee.
The chair will use the “Guidelines for Board Meetings” at the board meeting at the 2006 annual conference to make sure that all topics are covered.
A Parliamentarian's Cheat Sheet is close to completion. Some additional editing is needed before the document is posted.
