The selected award winner of the 2006 Shirley Olofson Memorial Award—Li Zhang from Mississippi State University—has accepted this award. All paperwork has been submitted to ALA, and the check for the award has been sent to Ms. Zhang. We are prepared to present the award (I have created a certificate) to Ms. Zhang at whichever NMRT meeting would be most appropriate. We have created, printed, copied, and sent to ALA a brochure (for both 3M and Olofson awards) to be distributed at the NMRT booth at Annual.
