**Activity in Current Reporting Period 

a)      Projects completed (For example, any procedures, tip sheets, checklists, etc. created during this period):

1)      Found a restaurant willing to provide a semi-private space for free on a Saturday evening – the Hard Rock Café.

2)      Re-adjusted the time to begin at 5:30, rather than 6:30 (ending officially at 8:30).

 

b)      Projects in progress but not yet completed:

1)      Selecting appetizers to start out the evening. Prices will change before our event, so our total may fluctuate slightly.

2)      Still working on coming up with door prizes to be given away at the event.

3)      Waiting to hear from Hard Rock Staff which bar our event will be held at.

4)      Publicizing the event via NMRT-L, state association lists, school chapter lists, and other avenues to drum-up interest/try to make this the best-attended, most fun social to date!

 

**Action Items/Issues To Be Resolved (What is left to do, based on your Planning Report?
Have there been any substantial changes in plans since then? What items, if any, have been deferred until next year?):
Due to the lateness of my appointment and some personal issues on my end, we did not file a Planning Report. I believe that things are working out fine now, and that we will have a great event at the Hard Rock for NMRT'ers. We will file our Final Report after the event, to accurately reflect numbers in attendance, how things go, etc. Finding a restaurant willing to host us at dinnertime on a Saturday night when we aren't providing a buffet or banquet is challenging, to say the least. We wish to approach the Board about increased funding for this Committee in the future (we have the proper paperwork and will file it ahead of time so that it can be discussed more fully at the Midwinter Meeting).
