**Activity in Current Reporting Period 

a)      Projects completed (For example, any procedures, tip sheets, checklists, etc. created during this period):  We have developed a webpage through our web liaison, Andrea Delumeau with information pertinent to the award, contact information, and a link to the application process.

 

 

b)      Projects in progress but not yet completed:  Our focus, so far, has been promoting our award.  I have contacted Michelle Fossum to promote the award through SASCO.  I also sent the information to NMRT Footnotes for inclusion.  Our committee decided that we would like to further promote the award, so we secured contact information to all of the ALA student chapters that we could find, and sent an e-mail promoting the award and directing them to our website.  We hope that this will result in some worthy candidates that might not otherwise have applied.

 

 

 

 

 

**Action Items/Issues To Be Resolved (What is left to do, based on your Planning Report?
Have there been any substantial changes in plans since then? What items, if any, have been deferred until next year?): 
The deadline for submission is February 28th, so our committee still has substantial work to do.  I will copy and send submissions to all members of our committee, and each member will judge the submissions and rank the candidates.  We will then notify the chapters and announce the winners in early April.
