**Activity in Current Reporting Period 

a)      Projects completed (For example, any procedures, tip sheets, checklists, etc. created during this period):

 

The Committee will create a four-page supplement to the May 2005 paper issue of Footnotes. This supplement will focus on resources and information useful to new librarians who need or would like to publish. The Committee has brainstormed four articles for this supplement and has assigned authors for each article.

 

b)      Projects in progress but not yet completed:

 

The authors assigned to each article need to write their articles and send to the chairperson; one of the four articles has already been submitted. The chairperson will edit and layout the supplement in Adobe PageMaker to send to the Footnotes editor, Amanda Roberts.

Articles are due to the chairperson on March 1, 2005. The final copy of the supplement is due to the Footnotes editor (Amanda Roberts, palmanda1@yahoo.com) by March 21, 2005.
