The Orientation Committee collaborated on an article for the November 2004 issue of Footnotes. The article, http://www.louisville.edu/~tlholt02/nmrt/Footnotes/november2004/Cheap.htm, focused on providing new conference-goers with tips on attending conferences without spending too much money.
The committee also planned,
advertised, and conducted an orientation program at the ALA Midwinter Meeting
in
