3. What kind of interaction have you had with your committees thus far this year? What support have you been able to provide them?
My major interaction thus far this year has been with the Midwinter Activities Committee, who initially had difficulties finding a suitable venue for the Midwinter gathering. I've also been working with the 3M/NMRT Social Committee so that we'll all up to speed on what to do this year, given Judy Nelson's retirement.
4. What would you still like to accomplish in your office before the end of your term?
I'd like to ensure that the 3M/NMRT Social is a rousing success, and that Local Arrangements accomplishes all that it needs to do. I'd also like to keep the Liasion Committee on track and encourage more participation and reports by committee members.
