**Goals, Objectives, Projects completed (including, but not limited to, any procedures, tip sheets, checklists, etc. created during the reporting year):


Working with the NMRT Past President, we secured approval from ALA Award Committee to award the $1000 travel grant to the winning student chapter to attend the ALA Annual Conference. Created handbook entry for committee and created tip sheet for next chair. Changed the SCOTYA web page to all past recipients and runner-ups, not just previous year.



**Action Items/Issues To Be Resolved What plans/projects remain which will be carried over or postponed until next year? Have there been any substantial changes in plans requiring a reconsideration or cancellation of projects? Information regarding such will be helpful for future chairs and planners.


Suggests that the new chair change the submission of applications to electronic versions only to avoid the costs of mailing paper applications to committee members to review and to avoid the problem of student chapters not submitting their applications on time.


The online scoring sheets needs work, which will make it easier to review the scoring of applications by committee members.


The new chair should also clarify in the criteria of total current membership, which should be the number of graduate students in the ALA student chapter. It should not include undergraduate students, alumni, etc.
