**Activity in Current Reporting Period 

a)      Projects completed (For example, any procedures, tip sheets, checklists, etc. created during this period):

1.      Published November 2003 Footnotes online (

2.      Jill Grogg, Editor, attended the ALA Midwinter Meeting and received ALA Web training

3.      Footnotes Committee met at ALA Midwinter at the NMRT All-Committee meeting

4.      Worked with ALA Publishing to send out email alerts of the August and November versions of Footnotes



b)      Projects in progress but not yet completed:


1.      Currently in process of publishing February version of Footnotes (online)

2.      Will be publishing a print version of Footnotes for the 2004 ALA Annual Conference; print version will be distributed at the ALA NMRT professional Booth


**Action Items/Issues To Be Resolved (What is left to do, based on your Planning Report?
Have there been any substantial changes in plans since then? What items, if any, have been deferred until next year?):

1.      Amanda Roberts, 2004-2005 Footnotes Editor, needs to attend the ALA Web training at the 2004 ALA Annual Conference in Orlando. The publication of the online Footnotes in the ALA web template format will begin in August of 2004 (next committee year).

2.      A template for the online publication needs to be created; this will occur between ALA Annual 2004 and the August 2004 issue (next committee year).

3.      A 2004-2005 Assistant Editor/Assistant Chair candidate(s) needs to be considered.
