**Activity in Current Reporting Period

a) Projects completed (For example, any procedures, tip sheets,

checklists, etc. created during this period):

Working with the NMRT Past President, we secured approval from ALA

Award Committee for $1000 travel grant for winning student chapter to

attend the ALA Annual Conference. Created handbook entry for committee.

b) Projects in progress but not yet completed:

Working on tip sheet/checklist for future SCOTYA chairs. Working to

change the SCOTYA web page that lists past recipients to show all past

recipients and runner-ups, not just previous year.

A future SCOTYA chair should investigate online submissions of

applications to streamline process and clarify the online judging of

applications.
