Goal
#3: Provide feedback and big picture view where applicable;
strengthen
candidate recruitment process; encourage membership involvement
in the
selection of future round table leaders.

support
do you plan to provide to chairs and committee members, and how

do you plan to provide such support?
Since
all members of the nominating committee are experienced NMRT
members,
my focus will be to provide assistance and suggest opportunities
of
interest to their future participation in NMRT and other ALA units.
Additional
support is provided to other committees and board
members
as needed.

this
year or the following year? What kind of strategies do you envision
for
addressing projects that affect committees outside of your
supervision?
Formulate
membership recruitment and retention plan.
Direct resources to
key
goals for multi years yet allow enough flexibility to explore new
initiatives
each year. Provide coordination as
necessary through
supervising
board members and communication with project leaders/committee
chairs.
