**Committee Charge: 


According to the Handbook, “The purpose of the committee is to develop a handbook that will provide pertinent information on the goals, history, and major functions of NMRT for those associated with the Round Table.”



**2002 - 2003 Project Description / Goals: 


Continue updating and editing the Handbook. Prepare for migration to new ALA web site / database.



**Specific Objectives (numbers, tangible end-products): 


-         Finish editing and updating the Committees section of the Handbook, based on new material sent in by committees.

-         Gather remaining updated entries from committees who have not yet submitted theirs.

-         Restructure Handbook for migration to new ALA database. This will include a complete reorganization of the Handbook along with the creation and inclusion of new material.

Handbook will be responsible for its own web page editing and uploading during this conversion and migration process, as the Secretary has been trained by the ALA web developers in the operations of the new ALA database.
