**Goals, Objectives, Projects completed (including, but not limited to, any procedures, tip sheets, checklists, etc. created during the reporting year):
Objectives were to plan, organize, and implement an orientation session for attendees at the American Libraries Association annual conference. This required contacting and arranging speakers for the presentation aspect of the orientation. This also included coordinating NMRT and other ALA division members for the "breakout" recruitment sessions. The Orientation Committee received flyers or handouts from many of the roundtables and divisions in ALA and included these in an Ebsco sponsored "bag" given to each attendee. To facilitate the session, the Committee created and distributed flyers, WebPages, and planned raffles and door prizes. Assessment forms were disseminated with an overall high approval rating for the session. The attendance at the session was over 200.
**Action Items/Issues To Be Resolved – What plans/projects remain which will be carried over or postponed until next year? Have there been any substantial changes in plans requiring a reconsideration or cancellation of projects? Information regarding such will be helpful for future chairs and planners.
