**Activity in Current Reporting Period

All grant applicants have been notified via mail. I continue to keep in contact with the award recipients.

b) Projects in progress but not yet completed:

I am creating a procedures manual for future grant chairs that will document what needs to be done and when.

The grant committee is in the process of purchasing an easel to publicize the grant recipients at the NMRT conference booth.

I will correspond with the award recipients about the summer conference and their responsibilities at the conference.

I suggest a secure web site be created for the 3M grant to allow the committee members to access and review the applications once it is submitted via email. This will alleviate the need to photocopy all the applications and mail the large packet to the committee members. Such a plan will ease the rush to review 50+ applications before the Midwinter meeting.
