ALAWON: American Library Association Washington Office Newsline Volume 14, Number 99 October 5, 2005 In This Issue: We need photos of your library! As you know, the ALA Washington Office moved from downtown Washington, DC to the Dupont Circle neighborhood this summer. We love our new digs, but we have many bare walls – and we need your help to fill them! We are collecting digital photographs of libraries of all kinds to display in public areas of our new offices. We are particularly interested in black and white photos, but will also accept color photographs and architectural drawings. We would love to have many libraries of all types and sizes displayed on our walls. Please send us pictures of your library! What to send: digital files (jpg, gif, tif) - photographs and/or architectural drawings of your library or your favorite library. Where to send: please send files to Bernadette Murphy – bmurphy@alawash.org. Thank you very much for your help – we can't wait to display photographs of your favorite libraries! ****** ALAWON (ISSN 1069-7799) is a free, irregular publication of the American Library Association Washington Office.
