In This Issue: New USAC CEO Announced

This week, FCC Chairman Michael Powell selected a new leader for
USAC, the Universal Service Administrative Company. Lisa Zaina, chief of staff for FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein, will be USAC's new CEO, and will oversee the E-rate program, the annual flow of taxpayer money to subsidize Internet access to schools and libraries.
