In This Issue: LSTA Co-Sponsors Needed! 

The LSTA Reauthorization bill (S. 888) was introduced in the Senate on April 11 by Senator Judd Gregg.  The authorization number is $250 million and the bill has fourteen co-sponsors:

Action Needed: 
Please contact your Senators today! If your Senator is a co-sponsor, please call to thank him or her for supporting libraries. If your Senator has not yet signed on to co-sponsor the LSTA Reauthorization Bill, please call and urge him or her to do so! It is very important that we get as many Senators as possible to sign on to this important bill. Call today and remind your Senators of all the great things happening at your library.
