In This Issue: LSTA Bill Introduced in Senate with 12 Co-Sponsors

Today Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) introduced S-2611, the Senate 
version of the Library Services and Technology Act(LSTA). The bill 
now has fourteen co-sponsors in the Senate(see list below). If the 
bill's co-sponsors are from your state, please call and thank them 
for sponsoring this important piece of library legislation! If 
your Senator's name is not on the list below, there is still time 
for him/her to become a co-sponsor. Ask a member of your Senator's 
staff to call Elyse in Senator Jack Reed's Office in order to sign
