Washington Office offers Anti-Terrorism Legislation Forum - Don't Miss this Important Update!

Saturday 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Morial Convention Center Rooms 271-273

Speaking will be Kate Martin, the Director of the Center for National Security Studies and a direct participant in the discussions with Congress on this bill; Gary Strong, Director of the Queens Public Library who has experienced the "knock on the door" both before and after the PATRIOT Act took effect, and Michael Woods, the Chief of the National Security Law Unit of the FBI.

We will have web addresses and handouts to help all types of libraries prepare for what they need to know and how they can respond when law enforcement comes to your library.
 
After the speakers make their presentations, they will be available to answer questions. Also available for questions will be ALA staff Judy Krug, Lynne Bradley and Emily Sheketoff
